Multi-Purpose Pent Summerhouse with Hot Tub and Bar Hatch
The Challenge
Our client wanted a versatile summer house that could serve two purposes:
1. A covered space for a hot tub, providing privacy while still allowing plenty of ventilation.
2. A garden bar, creating a social hub where guests could enjoy drinks while connecting with the outdoor decking area.
The Solution
We designed and built a 4m x 3m pent summer house, incorporating innovative features that allowed it to seamlessly function as both a hot tub retreat and an outdoor bar.
Key Features
Opening Bar Hatch with Gas Struts
To create a fully interactive bar experience, we installed a bar hatch with gas struts, allowing it to open upwards effortlessly.
When open, guests can sit outside on the deck while someone inside serves drinks, making it perfect for summer gatherings.
Spacious Bifold Doors for Ventilation & Privacy
Large bifold doors allow the hot tub area to open up completely, ensuring plenty of fresh air circulation while in use.
The design also provides privacy from neighbours, ensuring a relaxing and secluded atmosphere when needed.
Seamless Decking Integration
Built directly onto the existing decking, the structure blends perfectly with the garden, maintaining a modern and cohesive look.
The Result
The client now has a stunning, multi-purpose summer house that enhances both relaxation and entertainment. Whether it’s used as a private spa retreat or a garden bar for hosting friends, the smart design ensures the space is functional and stylish year-round.
